The Community and Family Arts program creates a safe and supportive environment for 5-12 year olds and their families to be creative and to build social and emotional skills through working collaboratively on artistic projects. 

YAYA Community Arts is a Central City outreach program, which was supported by the Institute of Mental Hygiene during its pilot in 2016. YAYA continues to provide community and family visual arts programming through the support of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.

Who: Central City youth between the ages of 5-12
What: Tuition-free After-school Visual Arts Program
($25 Annual Registration Fee)
When: Tuesdays & Wednesdays; 3:30-5:30pm
Where: YAYA Arts Center at 3322 LaSalle St, NOLA 70115

Family Arts Every 3rd Saturday of the Month
(Unless otherwise noted)

Priority enrollment for Family Arts is given to those enrolled and active in Community Arts on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. Once those slots have been filled, workshops become open to the general public.
