Just Say YAYA supports YAYA’s tuition-free arts and entrepreneurship training programs for local youth. YAYA is training the next generation of New Orleans culture-bearers, while also offering life skills and career development to benefit creative young people on their individual paths to success. Please join us as we celebrate YAYA’s young artists!

This year’s Just Say YAYA celebration invites guests to YAYA, A Taste of What’s To Come, to give, to receive, and to be moved by the spirit of New Orleans as seen through the eyes and hands of its next generation of artists. “Nourish” evokes food, care, creativity, and the abundance that comes when young people are supported to thrive. It's about feeding imaginations, sustaining legacies, and pouring into the fertile ground of youth artistry.

Why “YAYA, A Taste of What’s To Come”?

  • For the Culture: From gumbo pots to garden plots, nourishment is a New Orleans tradition. It honors the way we gather, share, and create together.

  • For the Artists: Our young people are not just consuming culture, they are cultivating it. Their work is food for thought, soul, and city.

    Guests will indulge in a taste of New Orleans, not only through locally inspired cuisine but through immersive installations, vibrant visual art, and powerful storytelling. The night will be an open table: full of flavor, full of feeling, full of purpose.
