Who: Youth artists between the ages of 11-13
What: Tuition-free After-school Visual Arts Program
When: Mondays & Tuesdays; 4:00-6:00pm
Where: YAYA Arts Center at 3322 LaSalle St, NOLA 70115

Through the You Can YAYA program model, YAYA will provide opportunities for young people ages 11-13 to explore their creativity, learn about the YAYA community, and to participate in artistic programs that will support their commitment towards becoming a YAYA Teen Artist.

The You Can YAYA program will allow participants to journey through a more structured experience of YAYA’s artistic and social atmosphere. Participants will have access to the YAYA studio, opportunities for skills development, artistic guidance by YAYA’s mentoring professionals, and are able to attend YAYA events.

The purpose of this program is for each participant to explore their creativity and develop an understanding of what's required to become a YAYA in our teen Guild Program. At this point, they will be appropriately equipped and capable to decide if they truly want to become a YAYA artist.
